Starting over in a new world isn't easy; Not when the dominant species on Earth has changed. Despite it being a thousand years since the humans died off, here in Seranam, the recreation is only beginning. Territorial wolves might fight you to the death for a drink of water, or a mother may kill you for even looking at her newly born pups. How will you survive in this kind of world, where all Hell might break loose at the touch of a twig? Will you survive in this kind of landscape, which in normal terms shouldn't be that hard, or will you perish like many that have tried to start over in these lands?

So poor Viva isn't doing so well. Two of our admins, Puddin and V, are leavin', and so it's gonna be a bit different as we change the admins....Hopefully we can adjust well. The Las Criaturas pack is going to myself, ruled by Alaina, and the Las Estrellas pack is going to Silvex, ruled by her new wolf Artist. Stay tuned for that update, and guests, feel free to join us! :)

Season
The harsh summer has finally past letting the land have a sigh of relief, as the leaves in the forests begin their transition in color. Norte Frio has turn back to its chilled weather, letting the snow fall to cover the unusual green land. The lands of Hermosa Clima have been relieved of the beat down that the sun gave them, instead a cool breeze seems to always be present no matter where you seem to go. The only place that has unusual weather is the lands of Sol del Sur, with their usual hot and steamy weather has flipped to a lighter heat and still an iceberg at night. Mating

Wolf Journals Give us more of an idea of what your wolf is about; Hopes, dreams, ambitions, attitude, and et cetera goes here!
This pack is set deep inside Norte Frio, the wolves more caring and friendly here than their neighbors to the south. The terrain is rugged and the cold is chilling, so only the ones most fit for the cold live here. They are most willing to help travelers and welcome anyone to their home.
On the borders of this land, only the bravest can go. It's is located in the north, leaving it blanketed in white, where your breath will crack like ice. Mountains lay higher in the territory, resting like majestic towers. Watch your back at all times. Ice splinters are very commen to get wedged through the pads of paws.
Past the barren lands lies a giant lake- frozen with time. Time seems to be a made up theory here, where wolves can just relax. A force seems to draw wolves to the middle of the ice, where it thins out considerably. It's very easy to fall in. And many wolves have. The alluring scent coming fro mthe middle of the lake is calming and beckoning, like a siren's song. It's safe to stay away from the lake.
In this cold land, all there is here is a wide, just artic plain. Frozen ground is always covered with a light dusting of snow. Only a few bushes scatter the land. It;s very plain, but there are many dens located underground. Many wolves have frozen here, their dead bodies engraved in the soil. It's very easy to loose your way, since everything looks the same.
A few miles off from Siren Lake, a dense, snowy forest lay. Large pine trees gather together in a large area make it very easy to lose your way and get lost. The Icy River runs through the middle of the Forest, making a peaceful place to relax and sleep if you're lost. Hopefully, you'll get out the next day. Large tree roots twist all over the denser parts of the forest, where an eerie haze covers the forest floor. If you make it out, you'll find yourself in the Barren Lands.
The water in this clear brooke is obviously cleaned, thanks to the glaciers from the mountains. The River runs down from the mountains, stretching through the Forest and into the Barren Lands. Small fish dart around in the icy water, letting pups frolic after them. The River basically runs through the rest of the land, stopping who-knows how far.
The Water Forest Guardians-Within the rainy forest of Hermosa Clima lives this pack. The climate stays fairly moderate, though this does not mean that they don’t feel the burn of the summer or the chills of the winter. The wolves that had staked their claim of this area are polite and well mannered towards those who have wandered into their lands. They aren’t too friendly, nor rude and stay on neutral sides of other packs feuds. The members of this pack tend to show a strong and serious attitude towards new comers, but within the pack, they actually are friendly and accepting of each other. Due to the near constant precipitation and the oceanfront, wolves that live here nearly always love water.
A stretch of a long beach ends the territory line at the ocean’s edge. A beautiful view at low tide graces this beach, calm waters, desirable white sands, and an added bonus of a plentiful supply of large shoreline fish. Of course, do not be deceived, once the daily high tide arrives, it brings the waters clawing away at the banks, washing away those romantic white sands into a rocky bottom and revealing tall black spear-like rocks jutting out of the crashing waves piosed to kill you…as it has killed many other wolves.
Bordering the sandy beaches lays a large plain of tall green reeds and grasses anchored into the sand, pocketed with shallow pools to cool off in. Deer often graze here, providing excellent hunting grounds. The grasses hide all sorts of animals. Come the tide, the river that runs through this field becomes swollen; everything turns into a knee-deep wetland which small camin lurk about. Watch your pups.
Away from the ocean shoreline area, is the expanse of forest. Undisturbed for thousands of years, the woodland is overgrown. Moss hangs from branches in huge drapes and ferns blanket the forest floor. The trees have grown so large that little sunlight reaches the earth. It’s nearly always raining here, the overcast never breaks. Scents are obscured; someone could be watching you for all you know, a silent killer.
Looming over the ancient forest stands a volcano. It acts like a single mountain in this region with its snow-covered peak and rugged sides of black rock made from its lava. The air near the top is seemingly harmless, but it is actually laced with a clear, odorless poison gas leaking from the volcano. Being up there for more than ten minutes and you are a dead wolf, you have to be crazy to even think about going up there. In the lower elevations of the volcano are scattered caves; refuge in them during the cold winters is most comfortable, being heated from the eternal lava.
The temperate rainforest doesn’t surround the volcano as one might assume, as from the last eruption, taken place many generations ago, has left the land scarred for decades on end. It was sure forest once covered the lands all around the fiery mountain but now, once side is practically a dead land with little or no life. Only the bold and foolish would think of coming here, but to some, you have too. To get the Hojas de Gracia you must travel through here. The ground is infertile, grayed by the cover of hardened lava. Magma pits bubbling all around. The few trees that stand are burned to a crisp and covered in ashes. Mice and rats scurry these grounds, fall asleep and the larger rodents will practically eat you alive. You must make it through these lands before sundown or there is no chance for you.
This land is much warmer than it's northern counterparts, and easier to live in. However, these wolves are not as pleasant and are often snappish and rude. However, they are very diciplined and strong fighters, and can be caring when they want to be. Not many get in, but they welcome stronger wolves fit for their desert life style.
In the depths of the desert, a large, looming gathering of cacti lays. If you walk through here you'll get torn to shreds from the huge plants. There is, however, a large source of water in the middle of the cacti jungle. And a dangerous, narrow path leads you there from the north face of the 'woods'. But getting in is one thing. Getting out is another.
This place is truly brutal. It's scorching hot, with dark, spiked rocks jutting out in all directions. It's flat and dry like the Crendar Desert, but the heat is more extreme. If you look behind the many rock structures and dead vegetation, you'll find animal skulls and bones among the battered and smooth wood. There is little that grows here, not even dune grass. There are many 'hallways' between rock structures, the area almost like one big climbing wall.
Hot and arid, nothing much besides a few shrubbery and holes. It is dusty and only a little sandy, this not being the desert to have an immense amount of sand in it. It is mainly dry dirt, cracked and burning. Only the toughest of wolves can survive the heat, or those who enjoy the sun's brutal rays.
Bordering the east side of Crendar Desert is The Kyardin mountain range. It is a little bit cooler up at the top of the mountains, but no one's ever been up there. There are many trails and the mountains are large, flat in many places so you can walk on the lower portion. The upper peaks are too steep to reach, and would cause certain death if you fell from them. It is very dry over here, and although it has more vegetation, the weather isn't all that much better.
A gushing torrent of water rumbling over flint rocks tumbles into a calmer pool below. The falls are bordered by a thick wall of rock; whatever is up there, no one knows of. The pool is beautiful and sparkling, many desert plants growing near the edge of the pool. Behind the waterfall is possible dens, though they are quite wet due to the spray of the falls.
